The studio works across
the aviation, workplace, urban design and healthcare sectors with a goal to
identify and respond to the shifting patterns of behaviour in contemporary
life. Recent projects include the design of the Economy Class Cabin of
Lufthansa’s new A350 fleet, the design of a new global guest room for
Intercontinental Hotels, ‘A Better A&E’ project for the Department of
Health, Totem Intelligent Waste for Joseph Joseph & furniture projects for
brands including Teknion, Bene, Modus, Walter Knoll, Alias, Senator and more.
Luke was awarded the distinction of Royal Designer for Industry by The
Royal Society of Arts in 2008, and in 2012 was named, alongside Tom Lloyd in the top 50 designers ‘Shaping the Future’ by
Fast-Co Magazine in New York. He is member of the advisory panel for High
Speed 2 (HS2) rail network and a regular speaker at talks and conferences about
trained in Industrial Design at Central St Martins, (BA Hons 1991) before
completing a Master’s Degree MA in Furniture Design at the Royal College of Art
